Cecilia Occhiuzzi selected for the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Doctoral Research Award

Cecilia Occhiuzzi has been selected to receive the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Doctoral Research Award for the 2011-12 academic year. Each year, the IEEE AP Society awards up to ten PhD Students to encourage them to pursue a career in the area of electromagnetics, by evaluating the creativity and the quality of their research proposal, as well as the technical skills, the interests and the curricula of the applicants.

Cecilia has been awarded for her proposal “RFID Implantable Technology for Monitoring of Human Body and Medical Devices: the STENTag”.
