The Italian Space Agency (ASI) grants a 2011-2014 scholarship for a GeoInformation PhD candidate

 

The Italian Space Agency makes available a three-year scholarship for a candidate who enrolls in the Tor Vergata GeoInformation PhD program.

The research project that will be supported by the ASI grant will deal with Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radars, with particular emphasis on overall system performance in retrieving relevant features of the observed targets.

The research activity will be carried out at the ASI premises under the supervision of Agency's personnel.

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the COSMO - SkyMed second generation system on the basis of the outcome of his project.
