Data are freely available for non-commercial applications.

When publishing results obtained by using era-ora data, their source should be mentioned as:

"The data have been made available through the ERA-ORA Concerted Action, funded by the EC under contract No. ENV4-CT97-0465".

Moreover, the papers listed in the descriptor and/or readme files accompanying the data should be acknowledged.

Modelling software has not been designed for general unsupervised use, but requires preliminary information.

Researchers interested in using a model are expected to contact the person cited in the model headline.
